Teaching Artist and Choreographer
Zoey Dickenson is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Bourbonnais, IL. She received her formative dance education from Paula Aubry School of Dance, where she trained for 14 years. She has attended summer training programs at the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, Royal Flux Dance Company in Los Angeles, and Eisenhower Dance Detroit (where she also held an internship). After graduating from Paula Aubry, Zoey attended Indiana University, where she earned her BFA in Dance with a minor in Media and Creative Advertising. Over the years, she has trained in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, house, aerial silks, and African Diasporic styles and holds a certificate in Mat Pilates. Zoey will be dancing with Inaside Chicago Dance this season and is excited to further her knowledge and expertise in the field.
