Born and raised in Davao City, Philippines, Dee Alaba is a dance artist who graduated with a BFA from The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago in 2017. Since graduating, Dee has collaborated with independent artists and companies including Thodos Dance Chicago, Loud Bodies, and Synapse Arts. Dee has worked with dance artist Erin Kilmurray, collaborating in her work Search Party Dances ‘18 and as a member of the Honey Cast for The Fly Honey Show X. She has become a collaborator with The Cambrians and recently created choreography for The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s Dance Program. Currently, Dee is dancing with Chicago based dance company The Seldoms.
