Dancers who are interested in our competitive dance teams must audition annually at
Dance Team Training Camp.
Dance Team Training Camp will focus on elite dance skills and technique expected of competitive dancers. Dancers ages 7-18 who are interested in auditioning for our competition teams are required to register for one 5-week intensive session. Camp starts at 1:00pm and goes until 4:00pm during the summer. Dancers are required to come to training camp in proper dance attire, bring a water bottle and 2 nut-safe snacks. All dancers will receive a Boot Camp dance tee. Dancers will train their flexibility, strength, & stamina , as well as learn solo choreography ahead of auditions, giving them a leg up for the season.
Summer 2024
Dancers will learn the technique of various genres, including: ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop/breakdancing, lyrical, modern, contemporary, acrobatics and ballroom. There will be additional focus on alignment, coordination, choreography retention, improv/free-styling, body awareness, elite turns, leaps, jumps, kicks, drills, tricks, auditioning techniques and developing performance quality.
Our goal is to fully prepare each dancer for auditions so they are performing at their highest level and can be placed on the team where they will feel the most successful during the competition season.
By registering for Training Camp, you are committing to being on a team for the following season. Dismissal from any of our teams due to poor attendance or behavior will negate the ability to receive any refunds.

Level/division placement will take place in August.
NSETC does not do cuts, every dancer will make a team.

Athletes who are interested in our competitive cheer teams must try-out annually at
All-Star Training Camp.

This Elite Talent Competition Training Camp will focus on elite cheerleading skills, technique and tumbling expected of a competitive team. Athletes ages 6-18 who are interested in trying out for our competition teams are required to register for one 5-week intensive session. Camp starts at 1:00pm and goes until 4:00pm. Athletes are required to come to training camp in fitted athletic attire, bring a water bottle and 2 nut-safe snacks. All cheerleaders will receive a Boot Camp tee.

What to expect on an NSETC All-Star Team:
Competitive Cheerleading is a season-long commitment and attendance is mandatory for all practices and competitions.
Missing practice due to homework or poor time management skills will not be tolerated.
Our teams will focus on building accountability, integrity, trust, respect, discipline,
loyalty, humility, perseverance and confidence.
Cheerleading is not an individual sport and coaches will make decisions for the benefit of the team as a whole. Athletes and Parents are expected to respect these decisions.
Athletes are expected to treat each other and their coaches/teachers with the
utmost respect at all times.
Practices will cover routine development & progressions. Tumbling will be a regular focus of weekly practice.
Practice days and times may vary depending on team placements and schedules for each team will be sent out after the last week of Training Camp.

What to expect at All-Star Elite Training Camp:
Our goal is to fully prepare each athlete for try-outs so they are auditioning at their highest level and can be placed on the team where they will feel the most successful during the competition season.
All athletes will learn elite cheer technique including: jumps, a dance routine, tumbling & stunting. Campers will focus on flexibility, strength and conditioning, elite drills, stunts, jumps, kicks, dance, and motions, as well as learn their routine choreography ahead of try-outs.
