Do you offer Trial classes?
Yes! Trial classes are $25 each, and if you decide to join us for the session, those fees will be applied to your monthly tuition!
We are also happy to have you observe 15 minutes of a class in session and get a tour of the studio FREE of charge! (Please call our office to coordinate arrangements.)
Many Families choose to register for 1 full month class to try it out (recommended.) If it’s not a perfect fit, we are can transfer your class fees to a new style, or provide a credit on your account for future tuition!
We are new to dance/cheer/tumbling/acro, what class/level should my child sign up for?
No athlete or dancer is the same! Our class levels and ages are guidelines. Here are some good questions to ask yourself before registering for a class:
• Is my child fully independent or do they need me/a caregiver at arms length?
• Has my child taken a structured class before?
• Is this more for socialization or for instruction?
• What are my child’s goals? What are my goals for my child?
• Does my child want to take this activity for fun/with friends, or level up each year?
• Are we looking for a seasonal activity or a full-year commitment?
• What is my child’s energy level, ability to follow instructions and/or actively listen?
• Is my child interested in a recreational experience, recital performances, or competitions?
• How much are we willing to commit as a family to this activity? (Time, finances, dedication, attendance, etc)
• Is my child willing to put work in at home to gain specific skills, or do we plan to work once a week during class?
Asking these questions helps your instructor to tailor their class structure to your child's needs. We pride ourselves on having an inclusive learning environment for dancers of all abilities and levels. We want every dancer to feel supported and challenged so they can progress at the pace that is right for them.
Answering these questions can help instructors determine whether a dancer can be a leader in a younger class or can rise to the occasion in a classroom of older or more mature students. This may be the difference between taking ballet, cheer, hip hop, or tumbling; as well as how quickly your child progresses in and out of the studio! Ultimately YOU are the expert in knowing your child. Helping us to understand how your child learns and performs in the classroom allows our teaching artist staff to be at their most supportive!

How does Tuition work?
Tuition is billed monthly at $80 per class. (We bill every 4 weeks which comes out to $20 per 55 minute class.) Multiple class and sibling discounts are also available. *Longer classes or technique classes may incur additional fees.
What do I pay for when I register for classes?
When you sign up there is a costume fee deposit for $75 -$95 depending on the class, and also a $25 non-refundable registration fee. If you decide to transfer to a different class prior to registration closing, the costume fee follows you, and if you need to drop we will refund you the costume fee (after registration closes, your dancer gets to keep the costume if it has already been ordered.) If you need to drop any classes, just let us know and we will stop payment on your account. We will only bill you for the classes you have attended.

Do I need to commit to the entire season and how long is it?
You do not need to commit to the entire season, but we do highly recommend it! Our season runs August-May and we end the season with a super fun spring recital production! Enrollment remains open until the end of October, so that dancers can transfer classes and register. Once we order costumes, placement in recital routines is final. You must be enrolled by the time registration closes in order to participate in the dance recital. If you drop your class prior to the end of October, you will receive your costume deposit back as a refund.
Not interested in a recital performance? We also offer technique and fitness based classes throughout the season!
We can’t come to class this week, can we do a make-up?
Yes! Please email our office at: info@northshoreelitetalent.com and we will get a make-up class time and day set up for your dancer/s. Class fees are non-refundable, so we encourage you to make-up classes if you have to miss!
Can you give me more information about the recitals?
We host 2 dance concerts each year! One in the winter for our Company and Competition dancers as a showcase, and one in the spring for all of our dancers who are enrolled in a recital class!
More information about the winter & spring recital will be emailed to registered students at the beginning of the fall 2024-2025 session.
