Coach Julia started cheerleading under Coach Nabi and Coach Jen at age 8 with the Glenview Park District. She later cheered at GBS in high school reaching leadership and academic athlete positions, All-Conference Cheerleader, and All-American Cheerleader. She also cheered at Carroll University, being captain her junior and senior years. Coach Julia also attended Carroll University for graduate school, receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2023. Throughout her time in graduate school, Coach Julia was a volunteer assistant coach for the University, at the competitive level. She was also a tumbling coach Elite Tumble Factory near the university, where she coached pre-school classes, and all skills leading up to standing tucks. Now a licensed physical therapist, key points for her coaching include: proper strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and “perfection before progression.”
